Jonas is the Chief Product Officer of Procivis AG (www.procivis.ch ), a Swiss company which offers government-trusted digital identity solutions. Prior to this, Jonas worked for over 10 years in the field of security sector governance and reform in the MENA Division of the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).  During this time, he was involved in reform projects in the Arab region, specifically in Lebanon, Morocco, the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) and Tunisia. Between 2012 and 2016, Jonas was Head of Mission at DCAF’s office in Tunisia. In this function, he managed a multi-donor country program assisting the Tunisian authorities in putting their armed police and security forces on a democratic footing. Within this framework, he also managed numerous digitalization and e-government projects, including the creation of the largest legal database on security sector legislation in the Arab region (www.legislation-securite.tn). Jonas holds a double Master's degree in International Relations and Conflict Analysis. He is currently completing his MBA.
